At Diotima, the brand's beloved knitwear transported the audience to the Caribbean, but the dramatic eyelashes brought a fantastical twist to the presentation. The eyelashes, adorned with red and white accents, were the work of Addiction Tokyo's creative director, Kanaoko Takase, known for her unconventional approach to beauty. "The collection is a reconstructed memory of summer that features vibrant pops of color, and so we wanted the makeup look to complement this," Takase explained. The bold, colorful, and dramatic eyelashes were an extension of the collection's storytelling, seamlessly blending the vibrant hues and movement of the ocean-inspired garments.

Luar's Raul Lopez is a designer who never shies away from making a bold statement on the runway, and this season was no exception. While this look may have worked perfectly on the runway, Hoang acknowledged that it might not be the most practical choice for everyday wear.

Libertine's collection was showcased in a protest-themed show at the Elizabeth Street Garden, with an initiative to save the iconic green space. Manicurist Julie Kandalec wanted to amplify this message through the nail designs, creating a silver chrome look with a hint of yellow peeking through. "The yellow moon at night, or the sun, symbolizes the constant light that shines over the garden — a guiding force of hope and growth. This vision deeply inspired our design," Kandalec explained. The striking nail art not only complemented the collection but also served as a visual representation of the brand's commitment to the garden's preservation.

For its New York debut at the Guggenheim Museum, Alaïa's show embodied simplicity and minimalism in its beauty approach. With the focus on the geometric shapes and fabric wraps of the clothing, the hairstyle that best complemented the collection was the sleekest slick-back imaginable.
